INTRODUCTION
Ecogen® (Trademark Registration Certificate: No. 6742177) is an environment-friendly and highly efficient compound which developed by Shanghai Eco-well Bioscience Co., Ltd. by using advance bio- technology. High performance strains are screened from nature, through DNA identification, and selective cultivation, a high performance symbiotic combination strains is then formulated which contains a complete spectrum of digestive and metabolic enzymes, growth factors and nutrients, which are then compounded in a stabilized powder forms through low temperature drying.
PRINCIPLE & FUNCTION
The product contains a variety of effective functional microorganisms, broad spectrum of digestive and metabolic enzymes, etc.. The micro-organisms grow and become the dominant strains through selective and compete with activated sludge of the "indigenous" populations, to achieve optimal ratio between population, thus optimizing the activated sludge microbial ecosystem, in bio-degradation of organic pollutants performance. Additionally, with the strong ability to inhibit the harmful/non-performing bacteria growth, high tolerance to temperature change and improving adaptability, use of Ecogen has help reducing the amount of aeration and significantly reduces sludge emissions during the treatment process while improving effluent quality.
STORAGE & STABILITY
Ecogen should be stored in cool dry place at temperature of around 20’C and is valid for 2 years.
TESTING & CERTIFICATION
Ecogen has been identified and susceptibility tested by the Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Science indicating that all strains used are bio-safety level 1.

APPLICATION
Ecogen powder mixed water after activation process is then dosing into waste water treatment pool, adjustment of process parameters are made according to the "outdoor drainage design specification" (GB50014-2006), without changing the existing sewage treatment process. Dosage Ecogen rate of 0.5ppm in the sewage.
