GPPS
優點
- 無色透明
- 電絕緣性佳

缺點
- 易碎,易燃,易老化
- 對紫外光反應會變黃及脆化
- 不耐酒精,氣油類,表面出現裂紋
- 容易吸塵
HIPS
優點
- 帶有韌性,不透明
- HIPS有防火級,高流動級,結構泡沬級,纖維級…...等
缺點
- 收縮率較GPPS為大,約0.3-0.8%
- 耐熱性,尺寸穩定性,流動性,剛性比PS差
- 易受高低溫度調整變化的影響
- 高溫會造成縮水及橡膠部份會起交聯變質
ABS
普通級
優點
- 硬而韌,沖撃強度非常高,沖斷時呈抗張性
- 低溫在-51℃還有韌度
- 吸濕性低,在潮濕環境中物理性質不減弱
缺點
- 曝晒於紫外光下表面產生脆化,光澤消失
透明級
SAN
優點
- 透明度高
- 硬度D80-83
- 對光透穿率85%
- 折射率1.57
- 表面硬度高丶光潔度好丶適合製造要求嚴格的產品丶不易為油污做
缺點
- 流動性較差
- 溫度過高會使塑件變黃
MBS
優點
- 高光澤,透光率非常好
- 耐候性佳,耐紫外缐優於ABS,零下40℃仍有良好韌性
- 能耐無酸緘,油酯,去污液等
- 耐沖擊性佳
缺點
- 不耐酮類,芳烴,脂肪烴和氯化烴等有機溶劑
PMMA
優點
- 無色透明
- 透光性93%
- 透紫外缐73%
- 良好的耐候性,強韌,耐藥品性好
- 適合光學䭗片
缺點
- 易蠕變
- 不耐濃酸和氧化性酸
- 不耐溶劑,汽油
MS

- 蠕變性比PE好丶耐磨
